There's nothing new or clever about framing domestic social policy as a way to win some assumed and inevitable Cold War. Nor is it progressive to accuse Republicans of being CCP sleeper agents.

What is it with this "it's not right v. left, it's top v. bottom" that I see from various dimwits? I guess these are the same people that imagine the owner of a smallish Midwestern home building company is bottom and the labor economist at UMASS- Lowell is top. See, the capitalist drives a pickup!
