The use of terms like "Frontline and Essential Worker's," making worker's that went to work during the early days of Covid 19 was simply propaganda. Much like the nationalistic movies, radio and speeches used in the USA during the 1st and 2nd World War's. Advertising to show how much our government appreciates our sacrifices, and willingness to join in and fight the enemy that threatens our countries very existance. It is all a game and we the people are simply pawns on a chess board, in an endless game of the status quo! Yes, what a different tune our political figured play now, now that they no longer need us to save society.
I can’t believe I thought the Biden admin would do so much better with the pandemic. We will continue to have these pandemics due to clearing of forests and the climate warming that is causing epic melting, etc. If we can’t handle covid-19, how in the world will we be ready for those down the road—which are not really far down the road at all.

I think an equally valid reading aligns with the term being retired as vaccines became more publicly available. No longer were frontline workers risking getting the virus every day, because they could now choose to get themselves protected. Obviously that sentiment hasn’t aged perfectly given the breakthrough cases of Omicron, so maybe it’s time for us to bring it back.
